Based in the seaside community of Newburyport, Massachusetts, Tiny Tides is a family-first, boutique childcare agency dedicated to creating trusted, meaningful connections between families and childcare and tutoring professionals. We specialize in placing local babysitters, long-term nannies, and tutors in homes throughout the North Shore of Massachusetts and surrounding areas where dependable care is needed most.
Founded by owner Shannon Haley, Tiny Tides was born from personal experience. After welcoming her first child, Shannon encountered firsthand the challenges of finding reliable, trustworthy childcare and quickly recognized a gap in available resources for families in the Newburyport area. As both an educator and a mother, Shannon made it her mission to create a high-touch, personalized childcare service that supports families through every stage of their care journey, helping them find the right match with confidence and peace of mind.
